Known issues

• DPF (diesel particulate filter) clogging and regeneration issues, particularly on stop-start urban driving; forced regeneration at dealer costs €400–€800
• EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve stiction and carbon buildup, leading to reduced power and limp-mode activation
• Diesel injector carbon deposits causing hard starts, rough idle, and increased emissions; cleaning or replacement €600–€1,200 per injector
• AdBlue system faults: faulty NOx sensors triggering false warnings and limp mode; sensor replacement €800–€1,500
• Timing chain tensioner wear on high-mileage examples (less common at 2020, but monitor closely); early signs are rattling on cold start
• Gearbox software glitches on the 8-speed automatic causing delayed engagement or judder during low-speed manoeuvres
