Known issues

• High-voltage battery degradation and loss of electric range (10–15% loss common by year 3–5); replacement costs €8,000–€12,000+
• Charging port and onboard charger faults; slow or failed charging cycles reported in early delivery examples
• Dual-clutch transmission (8-speed DCT) hesitation and judder during low-speed hybrid transitions between electric and petrol modes
• Electrical gremlins: infotainment lag, backup camera dropout, and CAN bus communication errors affecting engine/motor coordination
• Overheating of the electric motor and power electronics under sustained petrol-engine-assist driving; reduced performance limp modes
• AdBlue system faults on petrol engine start-stop cycles; EGR valve carbon build-up despite emissions controls

• Zero-emission urban and suburban commuting on a full battery charge (ca. 50–70 km real-world range)
• Excellent acceleration and smooth power delivery when in EV mode; virtually silent low-speed driving
