• Carbon buildup on direct injection petrol engines leading to rough idle and hesitation after 80,000+ km
• Timing chain tensioner wear causing rattle on cold start (affects turbocharged variants more)
• Turbocharger boost pressure loss and occasional limp-mode activation in petrol turbo models
• iDrive infotainment system occasional freezing, touch screen unresponsiveness, and software glitches
• Electrical gremlins: power window regulators failing, door lock actuators sticking, and intermittent warning lights
• Transmission shudder during low-speed city driving (8-speed automatic gearbox occasional hesitation)
