Known issues

• DPF (diesel particulate filter) regeneration issues causing limp-mode, blocked DPF, and forced regeneration cycles that damage fuel economy
• Diesel injector stiction and failure, especially in early 2018 models; symptoms include rough idle, white smoke, and reduced power
• EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve carbon build-up causing rough running, increased emissions, and potential limp mode
• Timing chain tensioner wear and rattle on cold start, particularly at higher mileage (60,000–100,000 km)
• N47 diesel engine (some 2018 variants) known for oil sludge buildup and turbo bearing wear if servicing intervals not met strictly
• AdBlue system faults causing dashboard warnings and derate in power; dosing heater and NOx sensor failures common
