Known issues

• DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) clogging and regeneration issues, especially on low-mileage or short-trip driving patterns
• Injector failures and carbon build-up on direct injection engines, requiring expensive replacement (€400–€800 per injector)
• EGR valve and cooler problems leading to rough idle and limp mode
• Timing chain tensioner wear, producing rattling on cold starts (premature wear noted in some 2017 models)
• DSG gearbox (if equipped) judder on low-speed manoeuvres and occasional hesitation during gear changes
• Water ingress into LED headlight units, causing condensation and electrical faults
