Known issues

• EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve sticking and carbon buildup, causing rough idle and limp mode activation
• Diesel injector failure or sticking, resulting in misfires, hard starts, and increased emissions
• Turbocharger bearing wear and premature failure, often manifesting as loss of boost pressure and black smoke on acceleration
• AdBlue system faults and SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) sensor failures, causing 'check emissions' warnings and limp mode
• Timing chain tensioner wear on higher-mileage examples, leading to rattling on cold starts
