Known issues

• DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) clogging and regeneration issues, particularly on low-mileage or short-journey owners; premature DPF replacement €1,200–€2,000
• EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve carbon buildup causing rough idle and limp-mode activation; cleaning or replacement €600–€1,200
• Diesel injector carbon deposits and occasional injector failure, especially on higher-mileage units; injector replacement €300–€500 per unit
• Gearbox (S tronic/DSG) judder on low-speed manoeuvres and occasional clutch pack wear; software updates or clutch pack replacement €800–€2,500
