• Carbon buildup on direct-injection petrol engines leading to rough idle and reduced power around 80,000–100,000 km
• DSG 7-speed gearbox judder and hesitation on low-speed manoeuvres, particularly in stop-start traffic
• Timing chain tensioner wear causing rattle on cold start (B9 generation known issue)
• Water pump failure around 60,000–80,000 km, often leaking internally before external symptoms
• Turbocharger wastegate actuator stiction causing limp mode and reduced boost
• MMI infotainment system lag and occasional software glitches requiring dealer reset
